Park hours are from sunrise to sunset. There is a lifeguard posted at the swimming area from 9 AM-5:20 PM, seven days a week from Memorial Day until Palm Beach County Schools begin in August. When school is in session, swimming areas are guarded only on weekends.
Park amenities include: 1,200 feet of Intracoastal beachfront (guarded only in snorkling area); 100 feet of guarded lagoon beachfront; beach wheelchair available when lifeguard on duty; NOTE: Saltwater fishing and surfing are NOT permitted in guarded swimming areas; 17 day-use-only boat slips; 1 boat ramp for non-motorized boats only; canoeing/kayaking access; jetty; 1 picnic pavilion (reservations required); picnic areas with grills and single table; playground with play equipment for ages 5-12; outdoor showers; restroom facilities; Indian mound historical/archaeological site;
