Who we are…

The Visiting Nurse Association of Florida is a non-profit, Medicare certified, home health agency. The VNA provides a wide spectrum of senior care services designed to keep our patients healthy and independent. Our highly professional and experienced staff provides you or your loved one with attentive and customized care. We offer a comprehensive range of health care services including skilled nursing, personal care, Visiting Physicians, disease management programs, fall prevention, wound care, Alzheimer’s care and more. In addition to our home health services, VNA of Florida owns and operates Grand Oaks assisted living communities. Our communities offer residents services such as a nurse either available or on-site 24/7, Visiting Physicians available for next day appointments, transportation and accompaniment on all scheduled medical visits, and routine health and wellness assessments. Who we hire…

VNA of Florida was founded on trust, and we have dedicated the past 40 years to serving our communities with the best, most dependable staff possible. All VNA employees are required to undergo rigorous screening prior to employment. We conduct local, state, and federal background checks to ensure we send safe and responsible staff into our patients’ homes. How we give back…

Our charitable arm, the Visiting Nurse Foundation works diligently to raise thousands of dollars each year to give back to those in desperate need of generosity. We have a fully equipped and staffed mobile medical clinic, the Florence Nightingale Express, which provides free health services to communities throughout Florida. In addition to health care, the Foundation assists with handicap accessible remodeling projects, pays outstanding utilities bills, donates Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners to underprivileged families, and much more.
