Arguably the symbol of our town, the famed Jupiter Lighthouse, is open on a daily basis for tours. From the top of the historic tower, you can see the entire town – and far out to sea. In addition to the Lighthouse itself, the grounds on which it sits are home to an important piece of Jupiter history. Visit the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Museum and learn about the first people to settle the area 5,000 years ago, the shipwrecks that still wash their treasure ashore on our beaches, the Navy radio station that listened for enemy ships and, of course, the Lighthouse shining above it all.
If an evening at the Theater is more to your liking, Maltz Jupiter Theater presents Broadway shows in an intimate and invitingenue. The Maltz is Florida’s largest professional, award-winning, not-for-profit, regional theater and in addition to a full season, also hosts limited engagements, student productions, and benefit concerts. A wild time is always in full swing in Jupiter’s theater scene.
A wild time can also be found at the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, which combines a nature center and a wildlife rehab facility. Visitors are encouraged to engage with local flora and fauna – learning methods for conserving and preserving the beautiful land around Jupiter as well as the animals who live here.
Of course these are just a few of Jupiter’s many attractions. There is baseball, paddle boarding, waterside restaurants with live music, plus our famous beaches... Our Jupiter Florida Things to Do Guide is designed to help you get a handle on it all. Start planning - Jupiter awaits!
