PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL – April 12, 2019 – Legacy Place, Palm Beach Gardens, FL is an annual magnet for food and beverage appreciators who excitedly indulge in the annual event of Fork and Cork benefiting the non-profit charity Little Smiles.

Thursday, April 11 was the 11th celebration of the event which showcases the best food and drink producers and suppliers in northern palm beach county. The always popular event for locals and visitors, features recognized chefs and speakers who entertain and educate the audience, highlighting the finest local food and drink providers in addition to cooking demonstrations, tastings, and talks.

Walking around the stands with drink in hand, the delicious fusion of foods enticed visitors to try a little of everything. Florida Coast Magazine team's favorite was Evo Italian’s (Tequesta, FL) arborio rice balls stuffed with beef and reggiano parmigiana and mozzarella which was lightly fried and served with a San Marzano plum tomato sauce. We paired this scrumptious dish with Amici Cabernet, 2016 a full- bodied cherry red wine we found on a neighboring wine stand. The sample was so tasty we had to have second–okay possible third helpings!

The live spirited music was provided by The Petty Hearts – National Tom Petty Tribute, which added a certain flair to this tasty, happy occasion. Be sure to look for next years Fork and Cork, although the cork part is optional.

Little Smiles of Florida, will once again benefit from this event with all ticket sale proceeds going towards this volunteer-driven, Florida non-profit children’s charity. Little Smiles main objective is to help mend hearts and generate little smiles by providing gifts and exciting activities to children impacted by serious illness, homelessness, or tragedy.
