JUPITER, FL – October 18, 2017 – Our signature festival began because undeniable talent existed among the day laborers we served and we needed to share it with the world.
El Sol Fest 2017, to be held October 29, will continue to feature Mayan painters, but we also hope to attract a diverse collection of artists for this family friendly event.
We are looking for painters, sculptors, photographers, and artisans to showcase their work.
More than 2,000 attendees are expected at this year’s festival, and vendors will have the opportunity to reach a diverse audience of art lovers, but space is limited.
The El Sol Fest 2017 Artist Recruitment Committee is looking for artists who promote community integration.
El Sol Fest is a highly visible event that will be heavily promoted in print, television, radio, online and through other promotional venues. The festival will be held on Sunday, October 29 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 106 Military Trail in Jupiter. Admission is free.
Proceeds from the event benefit the education, health and integration efforts of El Sol, Jupiter’s Neighborhood Resource Center.
To participate:
Submit three images of artwork.
Artist registration is $60.
Tents must be 10’ x 10’ and made to withstand wind and rain.
To submit your artwork and register as an artist for El Sol Fest, please email Andres, communications coordinator, at andres@friendsofelsol.org.
Payment is due on application approval. El Sol and each vendor are entering into a short-term agreement for art to be displayed and promoted at El Sol Fest on October 29. Artist check-in is at 11 a.m.
Your registration fee helps us defray costs. It is our hope that you do well as an artist vendor at this festival and that you commit to donating a portion of sales from the day.
