Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street Plans Beach Cleanup for World Water Week

JUPITER, FL – August 16, 2021 – Water views are part of the stunning scenery at Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street, and protecting our local waters is part of the culture. More than 30 staff members will participate in a beach cleanup at Carlin Park on Monday, August 23.

The teams at Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street conduct regular beach cleanups. They have already removed more than 270 gallons of debris. The upcoming effort will coincide with World Water Week, an annual event that focuses on identifying and finding solutions for global water issues.

“Our property is located on the Jupiter Inlet, so naturally clean water is top of mind,” said Liz Soulen, director of operations at Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street. “This is our way of improving the ocean’s health and protecting the beauty that we enjoy every day.”

Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street also supports 4ocean’s mission to end the ocean plastics crisis. The Tacklebox sells 4ocean bracelets that come with the promise to pull 1 pound of trash from the oceans, rivers, and coastlines for every sale. Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street’s conservation efforts are part of the #dogood initiative adopted by Lessing’s Hospitality Group, which manages the property and the neighboring Pelican Club.
