DELRAY BEACH, FL – June 27, 2018 – Prepare your taste buds for some of the greatest culinary wonders that Palm Beach County and South Florida have to offer! On August 1-7, the bustling restaurant scene of Downtown Delray Beach will have promotional dining options that will awaken the foodie in you during the summer season’s premier dining event: Dine Out Downtown Delray Restaurant Week.

Following two consecutive successful years since its inception, Dine Out Downtown Delray Restaurant Week has more than 30 restaurants on the menu. These restaurants will offer three-course lunches for $20 and under, as well as three-course dinner for $40 and under, excluding tax and gratuity, of course. Aside from the special multi-course prix fixe lunch and dinner menus, the week-long event offers an array of culinary experiences including wine and beer tasting/food pairing dinners, juicing/nutrition classes, cocktail classes, chef demonstrations, and more. Moreover, the event provides locals and visitors an opportunity to sample Downtown restaurants, cafés, and juice bars all at special prices.

“Dine Out Downtown Delray Restaurant Week will showcase the diverse dining scene and wide-array of culinary experiences in Downtown Delray Beach during the summer season - a tropical and leisurely time of year in South Florida,” says Laura Simon, Executive Director, Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority. “The program will also raise awareness for the ‘Not One Hungry Homeless Student Delray Beach’ initiative in partnership with the Delray Beach Homeless Task Force and Campaign for Grade Level Reading.”

The third annual Dine Out Downtown Delray Restaurant Week 2018 is produced by the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA), whose mission is to stimulate, enhance, and sustain the economic vitality of Downtown Delray Beach and the quality of life enjoyed by locals and visitors. The DDA’s partnership with the Downtown Delray Beach restaurant and merchant corridor will see participating locales from the following neighborhoods east from I-95: The Ave (Atlantic Avenue), The Set (West Atlantic), Pineapple Grove, SOFA (South of Atlantic), and US1. There will be more than 30 restaurants, cafes, and juice bars participating from these areas, including Max’s Harvest, Dada, Brule Bistro, Deck 84, Death or Glory, Buddha Garden, CHE!!!, Doughnut Works, and Caffe Luna Rosa.

In order to take advantage of these offerings, diners simply have to pick their favorite restaurant(s) from the list of participants and head on down to Downtown Delray Beach. No passes, tickets, or coupons are required. Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made directly through the restaurant of their choosing. While dining at a participating restaurant during Dine Out Downtown Delray Restaurant Week, patrons are encouraged to use #DineOutDowntownDelray on Facebook or Instagram and be automatically entered to win $300 worth of restaurant gift cards.
