JUPITER, FL – July 11, 2017 – ATTENTION ALL SPORTS FANS! The biggest sports rivalry in the world is coming to North America for the first time ever. ‘El Clásico Miami’ will take place on July 29th at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, where international teams Real Madrid C.F. and FC Barcelona will go head-to-head for the 2017 International Champions Cup (ICC). Needless to say, fans are going wild.
Acclaimed as one of the sport’s all-time greatest rivalries, the current rosters for each team will include some of the best soccer players in the world. Real Madrid C.F.’s recently crowned FIFA Men’s Player of the Year and Ballon D’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, will spark an intense match alongside world-class Argentinean national Lionel Messi, and renowned Brazilian Neymar from FC Barcelona.
As a match-up of a life time, fans from Jupiter, Palm Beach, Orlando, and northern counties will be flocking down to Dade County to get in on the action and celebrations that will be erupting amongst the city.
Relevant Sports, the hosts of the ICC, announced the creation of a Board of Ambassadors as part of ‘El Clásico Miami’ to promote and advocate the events centered on the athletics, art, culture, and talents of this historic world class soccer match. Some of the board members include Chairman Stephen M. Ross, athletes Serena Williams, Ray Alen, Chris Bosh, entertainers Flo Rida, Marc Future (DJ), business executives Maverick Carter, Desmond Howard, and our very own Jupiter resident Nick Korniloff.
The game will broadcast on ESPN and ESPN Deportes at 7:30PM ET.
