JUPITER, FL – June 2, 2017 – ENGEL, the leader in AC/DC fridges and freezers, high performance roto-molded coolers, vacuum insulated drink ware, outdoor adventure gear and soft-sided coolers, is thrilled to expand its ability to do good for our planet. Joining forces with Kenny Chesney’s No Shoes Nation and the Andrew “Red” Harris Foundation, they team with DEEP Apparel to create a limited edition t-shirt and hat to celebrate reef restoration and artificial reef deployment.
Outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers and music fans alike can purchase the t-shirt and hat now here
https://www.engelcoolers.com/kennychesneynoshoesnation.html. The limited edition t-shirts and hats feature the No Shoes Reefs logo, as well as the No Shoes Nation skull and cross bones. Shirts ($25.99) are available in women’s and men’s sizes and cuts, with $10 going to the charity, while the hats ($19.99) are unisex, with $7 going to support the reefs.
“As a company who calls South Florida our home, and one whose products are enjoyed by so many marine life enthusiasts, ENGEL is proud to work with Kenny Chesney’s No Shoes Nation, the Andrew “Red” Harris Foundation and DEEP Apparel to preserve, protect and in some cases, create, reefs,” said Paul Kabalin, CEO of ENGEL Coolers. “Our coral reefs are not just beautiful; they are necessary for the survival or thousands of marine species and they help protect our shorelines. ENGEL is committed to doing all we can towards reef deployment and preservation.”
The companies and organizations involved hope to raise awareness of the urgent need to protect precious coral reefs, which are critical for aquatic ecosystems to thrive. Often damaged due to vessel groundings and anchoring on coral reefs, ENGEL continues its commitment to maintaining the fragile ecosystem off Florida’s coasts. The sales of DEEP Apparel’s limited edition No Shoes Reefs shirts and hats will raise funds earmarked for use in existing reef restoration and artificial reef deployment.
This limited edition run of hats and t-shirts reflects both Andrew “Red” Harris’ passion for the water and the No Shoes Nations’ ongoing love of the water, the beach and being outdoors.
About the Andrew “Red” Harris Foundation:
Andrew “Red” Harris was a promising young man and lifelong Jupiter resident. He loved diving and fishing in the ocean waters off northern Palm Beach County. Tragically, Andrew was struck by a boat while saving a friend's life snorkeling June 8, 2014. His family and friends formed the Andrew “Red” Harris Foundation to honor his memory and assure he is not forgotten. They believe the best way to do so is by helping to insure the long-term health and vibrancy of our local ocean by building artificial reefs in the waters where he loved to dive and fish off northern Palm Beach County.
