JUPITER, FL – April 13, 2018 – SunFest is right around the corner! The festival, which will celebrate its 36th annual installment, has become Florida’s most prominent waterfront event that celebrates music and the arts. Over the years, SunFest has continued to evolve and cultivate new generations of fans.
The 2018 edition promises to continue this trend with a wide-ranging, diverse lineup that includes world-renowned acts of the likes of Pitbull, Nick Jonas, Incubus, Zedd. Logic, 311, Sublime with Rome, Ice Cube, Billy Idol, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Third Eye Blind, Toots and The Maytals, and many more.
This year, the festival will run through May 3 to the 6th along the Flagler Drive waterfront in downtown West Palm Beach with the JetBlue Stage, Art District (which is sponsored by Florida Lottery), and The ChillZone all opening on Thursday, May 3. The Fireworks Show will close the festival on Sunday, May 6 at 9 pm.
“We are excited about the energy and talent we have pulled together in this year’s lineup,” said SunFest Executive Director Paul Jamieson in a press release. “We create our lineup to appeal to a variety of people and musical interests. We have some of the hottest new talents and returning favorites.”
In addition to the acclaimed performs, SunFest will host an array of regional and local acts such as DJ Adam Lipson, Paul Anthony & The Reggae Souljahs, Sonali, and Nite Box.
“This year’s festival will be held over four days and we will have the entire site open all four days versus just the weekend,” says Melissa Sullivan, who is in charge Public Relations and Marketing for SunFest. “We are still presenting 50 bands with a mix of national headliners and regional acts. We have pop, hip-hop, rock, and reggae. Music lovers will find something every day to enjoy. Beyond the music, we are planning great activities in Art District and ChillZone along with delicious culinary options and an incredible fireworks show to wrap it all up.”

SunFest is supported by more than 2,000 volunteers. Sullivan adds that although many locals consider SunFest their “backyard festival,” The event has a significant impact on the local economy. Last year, patrons traveled from all 50 states, 30 countries, and more than 200 cities outside of Palm Beach County to attend the event, which brought in more than $15 million of revenue to our area. SunFest diverts a portion of these funds to partner local charities in order to help out their respective causes.

Tickets for SunFest 2018 are on sale now and can be purchased online, at the SunFest store located at 525 Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach, or by calling 1-800-SUNFEST. Kids 5 and under are FREE courtesy of Wells Fargo. Kids 6 – 12: $20 in advance, $25 at the gate.
