JUPITER ISLAND, FL – December 9, 2020 – Officials with Fontainebleau Development and Perko Development Partners, along with local dignitaries were on-site this chilly morning in Jupiter, at the groundbreaking ceremony for SeaGlass, a luxury “boutique” style twenty-one residence, 10-story condominium development, nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway on exclusive Jupiter Island in the village of Tequesta, FL. In attendance were Jeffrey Soffer, Fontainebleau Development chairman and CEO; Bruce Weiner, Fontainebleau Development COO of Residential; Jim Cohen, Fontainebleau Development president of Residential; and Phil Perko, founder and president of Perko Development Partners. Also in attendance were Village of Tequesta Mayor Abby Brennan and Building Director Jose Rodriguez.
With a projected completion timeframe of Fall 2022, each of these expansive three-and four-bedroom corner residences maximizes unobstructed, panoramic ocean-to-Intracoastal vistas, and spans 3,781 to 5,323 square feet of living area. Internationally renowned architect, Robert M. Swedroe and his team at Swedroe Architecture designed each of the exclusive 21 residences with expansive private terraces with summer kitchens, floor-to-ceiling glass, private climate-controlled, two-car garages, and with the addition of a private entry elevator which, according to one of the architects, Joseph Swedroe, “limits public interaction while maintaining a sense of individuality.” Joseph uses the architectural term for these unique and exceptional condominiums as a “skyhome” concept and he adds that these private and elegant living spaces “incorporates all that is expected in a single-family home.”
Strategically positioned next to a seaside preserve with nothing for thousands of feet in either direction and only the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Intracoastal Waterway to the west, the very appropriately named SeaGlass homes are quite certain to be highly desirable in today’s society. Pre-sales began in May and the development is expected to sell out quickly.
