WEST PALM BEACH, FL – April 18, 2018 – Chef Matthew Byrne and his wife, Aliza, of Kitchen Restaurant in West Palm Beach teamed up with local food blogger Cristyle Egitto of EatPalmBeach to host a private dinner for thirty on Tuesday, April, 10, 2018. They partnered with some of the best purveyors in South Florida for a cause: to ensure all children in this country get the healthy food they need, every day.
The dinner raised $2,650 to be donated to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry to benefit work to end childhood hunger in America.

Chef Matthew Byrne and his team served guests cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres followed by a four-course dinner and wine pairing in Kitchen’s sister venue and private event space, Prep Kitchen. The menu consisted of Oyster Mignonette and Lobster Cappuccino, Pan Roasted Local Fish, Porcine Braised Short Rib and a Kitchen dessert sampler medley.
Local sponsors like Bush Brothers Provisions, Independent Seafoods, Southern Glazers Wine, Stacole Fine Wines and Republic National Distribution Company joined the effort to help raise fund for the cause.

“We were so excited when Cristyle approached us to host this dinner,” said Byrne. “It is a fantastic cause and we couldn’t have thought of anyone better to partner with to have made it a success and a memorable evening for our guests. We are delighted to have an opportunity to support No Kid Hungry, both as parents and professionals in the food industry, and are thrilled with the outcome of the evening.”
