Live Like Jake Deals Out the Fun at Palm Beach Kennel Club

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – August 18, 2021 – It’s time to ante up the stakes on childhood drowning prevention during Live Like Jake’s 3rd Annual “Poker 4 Prevention” Charity Tournament. Tickets are on sale now for the Texas Hold ‘Em showdown, which will be held at the Palm Beach Kennel Club on September 12, starting at 12 pm. Tickets are $50 per person, and cover the initial buy-in. Re-buys are $20 each. The Prize Pool is 50% of the buy-ins and re-buys, with awards going to the top 10% of the final players.

“While last year’s event was virtual, we had more than fifty players participating and it was a huge success,” says Keri Morrison, organization founder and mother to Jake, who was lost in a tragic drowning incident. “We are so grateful to be able to hold our event once more in the wonderful Poker Rooms at the Palm Beach Kennel Club, where we can welcome even more players. This event helps us raise funds to support drowning prevention and to create awareness of the importance of safety measures that should be in place in and around water. And we do it all while have a great time together.”

Participants and spectators can also participate in the 50/50 raffle, as well as the Live Like Jake prize raffle. Food and drink are available at the Palm Beach Kennel Club’s Paddock Restaurant and snack bar. Space is limited and tickets may be purchased by visiting Live Like Jake Poker 4 Prevention Tournament. The Live Like Jake 3rd Annual “Poker 4 Prevention” Charity Tournament takes place Saturday, September 12 at 12 pm at the Palm Beach Kennel Club’s 2nd floor Poker Room. The Kennel Club is located at 1111 N Congress Ave in West Palm Beach.
