Love Serving Autism is pleased to announce 24 of its children and adults living with an Autism Spectrum Disorder are invited to participate in the 2019 US Open On-Court adaptive tennis experience Saturday August 31, 2019 on Arthur Ashe Stadium Court.
The local team will demonstrate an on-court showcase, leading into the first stadium court match. One of the Love Serving Autism tennis athletes will participate in the coin toss for the match following the on-court demonstration. The Love Serving Autism tennis athletes will receive a ground pass to watch world class professional tennis for the day.
Founder of Love Serving Autism, Lisa Pugliese says, “This is an amazing opportunity being chosen to participate in this very special event. Children and adults on the spectrum struggle with inclusion and social skills, this is a great way to combat that problem and raise more awareness about autism.”
The group is hosting a number of fundraisers, along with ago-fund me account already set up to help with trip expenses. https://www.gofundme.com/love-serving-autisms-2019-us-open-fundraiser?member=2098000
