JUPITER, FL – February 14, 2018 – The Namath Legends Golf Florida, the premier celebrity golf tournament in the country, is almost here! Benefitting the Joe Namath Foundation, the tournament will take place on April 20-21, 2018 at PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Numerous sports figures and celebrities will be taking part in the tournament, including Bruce Smith, Rick Ankiel, Julius Erving, Johnny Damon, Ed "Too Tall" Jones, Chris Berman, Mark Rypien, Jerome Bettis, Jim Fassel, Marty Lyons, Greg Buttle, and many more. The mission sponsor for the Namath Legends Golf Florida is The Kerry & Simone Vickar Family Foundation. The tournament will take place rain or shine due to the influx of celebrities who fly in for the event.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 20th with Broadway Joe's Kickoff Reception, and will continue into Saturday, April 21st starting at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast, the "Shotgun Start" tournament on The Champion Course (where the PGA Honda Classic is played annually), followed by cocktail hour, and will finish will lunch that will be comprised of celebrity introductions, Joe Namath's remarks, sponsor awards, Joe Namath Foundation mission, a live auction, and the announcement of the tournament winners.

Along with The Namath Legends of Golf Florida Tournament, The Namath Legends of Golf New York Tournament will be held on September 12-13, 2018 at Bethpage State Park in Bethpage, New York. The event will take place on the Black, Blue, Green, and Red Courses. Bethpage's Black Course is scheduled to host the 2019 PGA Championship and the 2024 Ryder Cup.
About The Joe Namath Foundation: NFL Legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Joe Namath is a “Champion” both on-and-off the field. Joe has supported numerous charitable causes throughout his life. Through his personal involvement with these charities, he has rallied volunteers, sponsors, and celebrities to raise over 100 million dollars. In 2017, Joe and his team launched the Joe Namath Foundation. The private 501(c)(3) supports children’s charities, neurological research, educational scholarships, and special need-based causes.
