West Palm Beach, FL - August 7, 2018 - All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated. Please call (561) 233-1400 or visit the nature center to make program reservations. Please make reservations at least two days in advance. Fees (if applicable) are due upon arrival to the program by form of cash or check. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form for every program. If you are more than five minutes late to a program you have made a reservation for, your spot will be given to a person on the waiting list.

Prerequisite: Must have completed the Archery for Beginners course at Okeeheelee Nature Center.
Here is the chance to practice those new-found archery skills! This expansion of the archery program will offer participants new challenges and allow them to work on precision and accuracy with a compound bow. Equipment is provided. Please wear close-toed shoes, and bring water and sun protection. Program is approximately an hour and a half.

Our just-for-kids geology class introduces basic concepts of geologic time, the rock cycle and types of rocks. Through hands-on exploration, participants will learn about beautiful crystals, minerals, fossils, and stones!

Go on a FREE guided nature walk through the pine flatwoods ecosystem and learn about the plants and animals that live right here in the local community.
