PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL – January 11, 2024 – The Palm Beach County Film and Television Commission and Tourist Development Council are thrilled to announce an extraordinary collaboration with the South Florida Fair and Palm Beach County Expositions, Inc., to present a groundbreaking entertainment experience that will showcase The Palm Beaches TV in a unique and captivating way.
From January 12 to 28, 2024, fairgoers can dive into the excitement at the South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach and take part in “The Palm Beaches TV Theater Immersive Underwater Experience,” which will offer surrounding sights and sounds of the ocean, creating an interactive aquatic journey that showcases local coral reefs filled with colorful tropical fish, enchanting sea turtles and majestic marine life swimming through crystal blue Florida waters. This sensory ecotourism experience is made possible through the incredible videography and photography of visual storytellers Jim Abernethy – shark and wildlife conservationist, Billy Catoggio of ScubaNation, and Benji Studt from Palm Beach County Environmental Resources Management. All footage featured inside the theater is prominently showcased on The Palm Beaches TV.
On the opening day of the fair, the Palm Beach County Film and Television Commission, in partnership with WFLX Fox 29’s South Florida Daily team, will produce exclusive content to promote The Palm Beaches TV programming and highlight the live, on-location celebrity appearances of The Palm Beaches TV hosts throughout the fair. South Florida Daily is a leading news and entertainment platform, which airs as a 30-minute weekday show (from 12:00 – 12:30 p.m. EST) and is available to viewers in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee Counties, and is also accessible via livestream on www.SouthFLDaily.com.
This collaboration with the South Florida Fair and WFLX Fox 29’s South Florida Daily aims to elevate the profile of The Palm Beaches TV by bringing it to the forefront of this celebrated community event, by providing an exhilarating new programming platform and an exciting way to engage with a broader audience.
“The Palm Beaches TV Theater” will serve as a Hollywood-style stage for Q&A sessions with fans, red carpet photo opportunities, autograph signings, and potential surprises, providing fair visitors with a special opportunity to directly interact with their favorite The Palm Beaches TV personalities, as seen on Destination America, PBS, Travel Channel, Bally Sports, South Florida Daily and more. The star-studded line-up features leading men and women, including Burt Wolf from Travels and Traditions, James Currie from Wild Palm Beaches, Birding Adventures and Hooked on The Palm Beaches, and Kitty Lundan from What’s Poppin’ PBC?
