Rising Musician Jakob Takos Shares His Vision

Jupiter, Florida - June 13, 2019 - Jakob Takos, born and raised in Jupiter, has been a working musician since the age of 16. He began playing lead guitar in his high school worship band and now finds himself playing gigs all over the East coast of Florida as he continues to grow as a musician.

Taking his appreciation for all genres of music and combining it with his love for his hometown, Takos has blended his style of music into what he calls “Sunshine Soul." (Sunshine = Folky/Beachy) (Soul = Blues/RnB)

When seeing Jakob Takos perform, you can expect to experience original content along with some covers of popular, classic tunes and underrated songs. Full band or a broken down acoustic setting offers variety and dynamics to his sound. Jakob Takos original music is expected to be released late 2019.

RELEASE PLAN

According to Jakob, “I have 5 original songs coming out soon. Instead of releasing a single to then later follow up with an album release, I am taking a different approach that is something I have never seen done by any musician in this area.

For the next 5 months, I will be releasing original content centralized around my original music being released. There will be music videos for each song, as well as, behind the scenes of how I recorded the songs. Also, each song will feature a local musician from the South Florida area, and a whole lot more!

In other words, I will dedicate one month to each single. That following week I will be releasing content to support that one single. For the remainder of that month, I will release original content to support that song until the month is over, which will lead to the second month for single number two, and so on.

Each track, features a different local artist. The upcoming album is titled, “Create To Connect”, because I am a firm believer in relationships. Creativity and connection are what I am all about and I funnel these ideas through my passion, which is music.

WHY JAKOB TAKOS?

I am a Jupiter native and I love this town. My parents met at Jupiter High School and my Dad even rebuilt the new Jupiter High campus! I feel so proud to tell people that I am from Jupiter and I always will be. So, I feel being featured in a local magazine would create more of an authentic connection from an audience standpoint seeing a Jupiter kid doing what he loves and representing his hometown.
