The community is invited to experience a fun-filled ‘Family Adventure Day” on Jan. 15th, with maritime heritage-inspired adventures planned to kick-off the 50th Anniversary celebration year of the Loxahatchee River Historical Society. The waterside event with timed-tickets takes place from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum, 500 Captain Armour’s Way. Tickets: $5 Adults & Children; children ages 5 and under are free. read more
Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum (JILM) is celebrating the 13th Anniversary of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area (ONA) on May 8, 2021. Thirteen years ago, the property became one of only three such sites in the entire United States. At the same time, the Jupiter ONA became part of the National Conservation Lands - the first and only unit east of the Mississippi River within the Bureau of Land Management. read more
