Jupiter, FL — February 27, 2020 — Therapeutic Oasis has opened their second location in Jupiter, Florida. The new location at 600 Heritage Drive (Suite #130), Jupiter, Florida, joins Therapeutic Oasis’ first location in Boca Raton at 851 Broken Sound Parkway NW, (Suite 250). Founded in 2013 by licensed clinical psychologists Dr. Patricia Shutt and Dr. Nicole Friedman and Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Therapist Christie Caggiani, Therapeutic Oasis has guided hundreds of patients through their journey to health, happiness and peace via both short-term and intensive therapy. The new location in Jupiter features the same owners, with the addition of Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Clara Bossie.
Therapeutic Oasis has been looking to add a Jupiter location for a number of years due to strong demand from patients and overall growth in the north Palm Beach County area. Specifically, there is a growing need for family and child-specialized therapists, which is what the Jupiter office will focus primarily on.
“The long-term complex treatment we offer to our patients works, but it can also be difficult to manage for many families’ busy schedules,” Dr. Shutt explains. “Driving from Stuart, Port St. Lucie, Jupiter, or even Tequesta, to Boca Raton one to two times every week is a lot to handle, so it was time to expand to the northern part of the County. We’re just so lucky to have found such a perfect space in Jupiter.”
Therapeutic Oasis Jupiter’s lead staff includes Licensed Mental Health Counselors Regina Lukens, Emily Whitehouse and Karen Moore, and Registered Clinical Social Work Interns Alyssa Hickey and Kristina Victoria Lembovski-Bernstein, and Registered Dietician and Nutritionist Lee Cotton. The new location also acts as a satellite facility for Boca therapists whose patients and families will no longer have to make the long drive down I-95 to Boca Raton. “We work as a team,” adds Dr. Shutt, “both collaboratively and with other professionals in the area to create the most effective treatment for our patients.”
Therapeutic Oasis’ mission is to create a safe, authentic environment focused on acceptance, compassion, healing and growth. The experienced staff works collaboratively to provide psychologically sound, evidence-based treatment and integrative services that encourage mindfulness and balance. At the heart of Therapeutic Oasis’ mission is the belief that every individual has the ability to reduce their emotional suffering, thereby creating a life worth living.
