Palm Beach, FL - The Colony Hotel, The Breakers Resort, PGA National Resort and Spa. Vintage Car and Food & Wine Festival Weekend.
The Third Annual The Palm Event is building momentum. Management expects over 100 collector-quality, vintage cars to attend the weekend’s events.
Friday, April 7, is the Welcome Party at the historic Palm Beach Colony Hotel. This quintessential Palm Beach property provides a most intimate setting to kick off our weekend. Festivities there include gourmet food and world-class wine, along with a poolside display of spectacular cars. A charity auction will be conducted on behalf of Wheels for Kids, along with a fashion show and automotive art exhibit. Tickets for Friday are available for $150 per person.
Saturday, April 8, is the Vintage Car Rallye Tour that kicks off with breakfast on Worth Avenue. Stops along the way include private car collections, historic landmarks, and lunch. The finish line celebration is 4 p.m. at the fabulous Breakers Resort, with a private champagne toast and hors d’oeuvres at their HMF (Henry Morrison Flagler) Bar. The rallye is open to 40 cars and is priced at $250 per car (includes two people for breakfast, lunch, and champagne toast). Spaces are limited, so reserve your spot soon.
Sunday, April 9, is the main event, the Retrospective Historic Car Display, on the golf course at PGA National Resort & Spa, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Over a hundred cars will be spectacularly displayed around the greens. Cars include a 1970 Shelby GT350 convertible, one of five in the world; a 1957 Mercedes 300SL Roadster, Best in Class Trophy, Lime Rock Concours; a two-owner 1963 Porsche 356 T6 B-Coupe; an Amelia Island winning 1964 Austin Healey WSM Sprite vintage race car; a 1984 Ferrari BB 512i Cavallino Classic winner; a Boca Concours winning 1954 Maserati A6GS owned by Larry Wilson; and Steve Wolf’s phenomenal Packard. A gourmet brunch including a Bloody Mary bar and a mimosa bar will be featured. Unlimited food and beverage VIP tickets are available for $185 per person. General admission starts at $85 per person.
