JUPITER, FL – November 15, 2017 – Join us in celebrating the season at the VSAFL’s Holiday Showcase, Thank You For The Music, on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Duncan Theatre at Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth. Local children, teens, and adults with and without disabilities have the opportunity to “showcase” their talents on a professional stage. This two-hour performance and reception pays tribute to dance and music performance in an entertaining, energetic, and heartwarming inclusive community event!
Thank You For The Music will be hosted by Alan Billingsley and will feature 10 very talented group and solo performers. Stay after the show for light refreshments and the chance to meet the wonderful performing and visual artists! VSAFL-PBC artwork and merchandise will be for sale at the reception.
Returning Holiday Showcase favorites include VSAFL’s Dance Residency students from Forest Hill Elementary, Southern Dance Theater’s Special Arts Ensemble, and VSAFL’s SpotLighters. Soloists, Xiomara Serrano (vocalist), Brian Chen (pianist), Joel Solomon (vocalist and musician), and Elizabeth Torres (violinist) will also return to the big stage. VSAFL’s Beatbusters, Southern Christian Academy, and VSAFL’s Dance Residency from John I. Leonard High School will be joining the Holiday Showcase for the first time this season!

A free exhibit featuring student artwork from VSAFL visual art programs will be displayed in the lobby of the Duncan Theatre from November 20 - December 14, 2017. For purchasing information, contact Holly at (561) 966-7026.
