West Palm Beach Latte Art Competition with $1000 Prize Pool

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – July 28, 2021 – Boomerang Beverage Services along with sponsors Café Creations®, Oceana Coffee, Torani Puremade Syrups, Alchemy North America, and Canopy by Hilton are set to host the first live and in person Latte Art Competition since 2019 this Thursday! With a $1,000 prize pool, this event is sure to draw a crowd from all over the state of Florida.

Judges for the competition include local celebrity chef Lindsay Autry, co-founder and partner at THE REGIONAL Kitchen & Public House in West Palm Beach. Local celebrity bartender John Moore, formerly of Steel Tie Spirits among others, returns from his new post in St. Augustine for one night only to help judge this competition. Matt Stemme from Torani joins us from North Carolina for the event. Our 4th judge goes by the name of Proph, he is a recent winner of the San Antonio Coffee Fest Latte Art World Championship Open, he hails from Brooklyn, NY. Our Emcee and tiebreaker in the event our judges can’t agree, is Robert Bodwell, local coffee aficionado and founder of the Get There Foundation, a local non-profit.

The Craft Kombi will be on site to help us dispense some samples of a Café Creations® draft latte and coffee and tea cocktails. The Craft Kombi is a German built 1959 split screen VW single cab in its original Dove Blue color with a hand built drink dispensing display on the back with restaurant grade chilling system and beverage lines.

Registration begins this Thursday, July 29th at 5:00 with a welcome cocktail and appetizers at the rooftop bar. Competition will begin promptly at 6:30 pm in the lobby cafe.

Cash prizes will be award to the top 5 baristas after competing in a bracket style competition using Planet Oat-oat milk as the plant based milk of choice provided by our sponsors Cafe Creations and Boomerang Beverage Services.
