Lake Worth, FL — October 5, 2020 — Wreaths Across America (WAA), in close partnership with the Mobile Giving Foundation and AT&T Veterans, is expanding its successful 2019 pilot “text-to-donate” campaign. Donors wanting to support the WAA program at South Florida National Cemetery, located at 6501 FL-7, Lake Worth, FL 33449, will be able to make this year’s tax-deductible contributions through text messages.
“I am a 10 Year Air Force Veteran and a Lifelong Veteran of a Military Family.” Recalls Jeffery Belezon, a South Florida full-time resident with ATT Mobility Solutions. “Our family chose to make South Florida our long-term home and when Captain Arthur Belenzon (our father) passed, South Florida National Cemetery became his final home. When mom passed, we made sure that they would be together forever at South Florida National Cemetery. We visit them frequently and view this place as an extension of our home and as a place where our family can be together. This year, with the help of AT&T Veterans, Mobile Giving Foundation, and this great text-to-donate program, it is meaningful and humbling to know that people’s generosity will help other families have the same comfort of knowing that their loved ones are remembered and honored.”
To sponsor a wreath, all you need to do, is text WREATH34 to 20222 to help South Florida National Cemetery reach its ultimate goal of 20,100 wreaths.
Each individual $15 sponsorship goes toward a fresh balsam veteran’s wreath that will be placed on the headstone of an American hero with the hope that all veterans at South Florida National Cemetery can be honored this December 19, 2020, as part of National Wreaths Across America Day.
A one-time donation of $15.00 will be added to your mobile phone bill each time the keyword is used, you may donate up to $100 in 30 consecutive days. All donations must be authorized by the account holder. You do not need to have AT&T as your cellular carrier to “Text-to-Donate” to Wreaths Across America; however, your local carrier may apply charges.
